Our Story

Destin Auto Part was founded by my father, Luis Gonzalez Sr., in 1978 under the name JVC Auto Parts. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a trusted name in the auto parts industry. Though my brother and I started in other jobs as teenagers, we were raised in the store, learning the ins and outs of the business.

In 2010, my father passed the reins to us, and we’ve worked tirelessly to honor his legacy by delivering exceptional service and top-notch parts. In 2014, we expanded from our original Manhattan location to Hackensack, New Jersey, and more recently, to Hillside, NJ. While growth has brought challenges, it’s also deepened our commitment to serving local communities across the Tri-State area.

We pride ourselves on staying true to our values of quality, reliability, and community, making Destin Auto Part more than just a business—it’s a family tradition.
